Thoughts on the Evil Dead Remake Script:
"Evil Dead lacks characterization, selecting a laundry list of victims ready to be tortured. Then again, maybe that was their whole point. The dialogue is cheesy at times, but easily likeable, and there is much room for good acting here.
Though the film holds several easter eggs that refer to the original classics, it makes no comments nor clarifications about them, leaving us with possible questions. Inevitably shocking and terrifying, but I question how long this film will last based on impact. It might just be a normal gross-fest turned up to eleven. That being said, it's going to be very interesting to see this adapted onto the screen without any CGI. I do however find the ending unsatisfactory"
